Live From New York
On "Live From New York" Peter Cincotti finds himself in his element. The New Yorker that turned pro at age twelve performs here on a rooftop with the Manhattan pulse as his metronome.
The piano drifts through the mix like it's floating in the surrounding skyline.
Not only is the complexity and emotion more apparent in surround sound, the environment that inspires him is unconcealed.
This video Superdisc was filmed in high definition and recorded in High Definition Surround Sound to capture the energy and imagination of Peter Cincotti and his world-class band. "Live From New York" is mixed so you experience the concert like you are there on the rooftop-surrounded by the piano, bass, horns and city lights. This SuperDisc also includes the original stereo recording of "On the Moon," for your CD player.

Peter Cincotti, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter-pianist became one of the hottest sensations to hit the scene in 2003, when his self-titled, critically acclaimed debut CD hit the top of the Billboard charts. In September 2004, Peter's second CD On The Moon, received rave reviews from critics across the country; The New York Times declared Peter "one of the most promising of singer-pianists of the next generation." Peter had a featured role in the Lions Gate film "Beyond The Sea," directed by and starring Kevin Spacey. Spacey offered him the role soon after seeing Peter perform in London.
In 2005, Peter caught the eye of men's fashion powerhouse, Ermenegildo Zegna, which chose him to be the new face for their suit collection in 2005/2006.
Peter's next album will be released in mid-2006.
